(“Helplama”, “we” or “us”) gathers and uses personal information submitted to Helplama through the Service. Helplama will take reasonable steps to protect user privacy consistent with the guidelines set forth in this policy and with all applicable laws. What information do we collect?

We may collect personal information from or about you in order to provide, enhance, market, and offer the Service, and to otherwise communicate with you. This section describes the categories of personal information we may collect, including personal information we have collected in the past twelve (12) months. You are not required to give us all the personal information identified in this Privacy Policy; however, if you do not provide requested personal information, we may not be able to provide you with the Service.

Account Information: If you sign up to create an account, we may ask you for certain personal information for the account, including the name of the individual creating the account, business email address, business phone number, and company name (“Account Information”). 

Payment Information: If you make a purchase, our payment processor will collect your payment information including your name, credit card information, and billing address, together with your purchase details. 

Location Data:  While navigating the Service, your mobile device or browser may share your location data, both through WiFi and GPS, and IP address or MAC address. We will collect this information based on the settings of your phone and browser.

Usage Information: We, and third party service providers that we engage to provide services to us (“Contractors”), may use web tracking technologies such as cookies, web beacons, pixel tags and clear GIFs in order to operate the Service efficiently and to collect data related to usage of the Service. This allows us to determine which features users like best to help us improve our Service, to personalize your user experience, and to measure overall effectiveness. We may also use Usage to understand how well our Service is working and to store your user preferences.

What information do we disclose to third parties?

Account Information: Helplama will not disclose Account Information to any third party except to our Contractors who are bound by written obligations of confidentiality, or as described under “Permitted Disclosures” below.

Usage Information: We disclose Usage Information to Contractors, in order to analyze the performance of the Service and the behavior of users, to operate and improve the Service, and as described under “Permitted Disclosures” below.

Aggregate Information: We may disclose aggregated data that does not contain Account Information that identifies any particular user or person to any third parties, such as potential customers, business partners, advertisers, and funding sources, in order to describe our business and operations.

Permitted Disclosures: Notwithstanding the foregoing, Helplama reserves the right to disclose any information Helplama collects in connection with the Service, without further notice to you (a) to any successor to Helplama’s business as a result of any merger, acquisition or similar transaction; and (b) to any law enforcement or regulatory authority to the extent required by law or if, in Helplama’s reasonable discretion, disclosure is necessary to investigate fraud or any threat to the safety of any individual, to protect Helplama’s legal rights or to protect the rights of third parties.

Children under the age of 13

The Service is meant for adults, and we will not knowingly collect personal information from any person under the age of 13 without permission from a parent or guardian. Access and updating of information

You can update your Account Information by using the profile editing tools on the Service. Helplama will respond to any reasonable request by a user to review or amend his or her Account Information held in our mailing list or database. Security: We will take security precautions to protect the security and integrity of your personal information and Usage Information in accordance with this policy, the Security Policy and applicable law. Service Visitors from outside the United States: Helplama and its servers are located in the United States and are subject to the applicable state and federal laws of the United States. Terms of Use: This policy forms part of, and is subject to, the provisions of Helplama’s Terms of Service on any applicable Subscription Agreement.

Transfers of Personal Information

We process and store personal information both inside the United States and overseas.  If you live outside of the United States, be advised that we may transfer your personal information to the United States and other countries, whose laws may not provide the same protections as the laws in your country.  Personal information transferred outside of the European Economic Area will be subject to the appropriate safeguards pursuant to GDPR and other applicable law, including without limitation, standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
